Eric & Sarah

I had an incredibly fun wedding on Saturday, I was photographing an old friend of mine Eric and his lovely new wife Sarah.  They’ve made an appearance here on my wedding blog before, they asked me to shoot some engagement photos back in the fall.  It was great to connect with Eric again, who I have to say is legitimetly one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, and I was so happy to see him end up with such a sweet girl as Sarah, who seems to be the ying to his yang.

Blaire & Josh

On Saturday I was up in beautiful Magnetawan, Ontario for Blaire & Josh’s wedding at the Woodland Echoes Resort.  Everything went of with out a hitch – minus half of Magnetawan burning down, which unfortunately delayed the ceremony by about an hour.  Luckily everyone made it there on time and the rest of the day couldn’t have been better!

Sandi & Adam

Last week I had an engagement shoot with Sandi & Adam down at Burlington Beach.  They brought their incredibly beautiful dogs that were the size of small horses.  Stay tuned for their wedding photos coming up this New Year’s Eve!

Darren & Janelle

About a month ago I had the pleasure of shooting with Darren & Janelle throughout their wedding day.  It was an absolute scorcher out at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club, but man it was a fun day.  They were both sweet enough to let me try a few things with them in the husband and wife portraits and I really like how they turned out!

Erica & Alex

A week or so ago I photographed Erica and Alex on their wedding day.  Unlike most other weddings where I shoot for 6-10 hours I was with them for just 2, doing the family portraits and then the husband and wife portraits.  They were married in a very relaxed and charming ceremony in Erica’s parents’ backyard.  It was one of the best times I’ve had on a wedding!

Paul & Tanya

This has been a crazy busy summer so far!  Between shooting weddings on weekends, working on personal projects during the week and moving back to Toronto, I haven’t really had a chance to update this blog.  I’ll have a few posts going up over the next day or two with some of my favourite events and people I’ve shot thus far.  This first post is from an engagement shoot I did with an incredibly sweet couple, Paul & Tanya.  I’m super pumped I’m going to be photographing their wedding this coming October!

Linda & Ian

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting with a really fun and in-love couple, Linda & Ian.  They got married at the beautiful Harbour Banquet & Conference Centre in Bronte, right on the lake and their ceremony was extremely touching.  I also loved their colour scheme: black, white and red looked nice and crisp!

Portfolio Update

I just finished a small portfolio update.  I weeded out some of the old stuff and slid some of my newer images from the blog in there.  If you have a bit of time, flip through the portfolio section.  A huge thanks to my very good friend Connor Lovat-Fraser for helping me out with all my web-related endeavours.

Also if you haven’t already please check us out on Facebook.

Shannon & Erin

On October 31st I had the pleasure of shooting an old friend of mine, Shannon Jank’s wedding.  It was great to see Shannon and catch up, but what was even better was seeing her with her husband Erin.  They seem very much in love!  I was pretty pumped when Shannon told me they were having a “Day of the Dead” themed wedding.  The chance to shoot wedding photos in a graveyard doesn’t exactly come around too often.  Super fun, great couple, boom goes the dynamite!

p.s. if you’re interested in booking for 2011 please be in touch soon, we’re starting to fill up fast!

Shannon & Erin Preview

Here’s a quick preview of the Halloween wedding I shot yesterday in Hamilton.  Shannon and Erin were a lot of fun to work with, the Scottish Rite was the perfect venue and I had a blast. More to come in the next few weeks!
